Painting the Airfix Spitfires
The next job is to apply the paint to the Spitfires. One is in what is known as Scheme A and the other B. The schemes look similar but they are mirrored left to right from each other.
Preparing the Spitfires for paint
There are a few things to do before the Spitfires can be painted. Time to get them done.

While looking at reerences I noticed that the anchor chains are guided off the ship via hawse pipes.

I had planned on starting to paint the superstructure but on looking at references I noticed some missing support masts.
