To start the painting process, the hull and decks are painted.

 

 



The red and white stripes were masked ready for painting.

 

 

To ease painting, holes were drilled in the decks to attach holders.

 

 

A pair of desktop triponds were secured. These form holders.

I got the Lifecolor paint set for Italian warships. This comes with an anti-fowling green which I decided to use,

 

 

I inverted the tripods for painting. Everything was primed in white.

 

 

All the vertical surfaces was painted in light grey.

 

 

The upper half of the hull was masked ready for the next step.

 

 

Anti-fowling green was sprayed onto the hull.

 

 

The horixontal surfaces werre sprayed darker grey and the decks test fitted.

 

 

The next step is to put the hull together.
