The next step is to fit the cockpit into the fuselage and join the two halves together.

There are quite a few bits for the cockpit but having built a Mk.1 which is similar, shouldn't be an issue.

While thinking of what to do next with the Pola, I noticed a black line!

The Spitfire V was the first major version of the Spitfire after the Mark 1.

The next job is to paint the cockpit parts and assembling it ready for insertion into the fuselage.

Construction starts with construction of the cockpit ready for painting.

The moulded in ladders and stairs can be improved with photo-etch.

The next thing to do is fit the wooden decks and assenble the ull.

To start the painting process, the hull and decks are painted.

Some extras were purchased for the RM Pola.
